14 – 18 December: The Global Migration Film Festival for the first time in Athens

The Athenian audience will have the opportunity to enjoy movies across the world at Serafio of the municipality of Athens, with free entrance
20 movie makers from around the globe, having as vehicle their movies, reach Athens, bringing to the city an original cinematic experience. The Greek mission of International Organization for Migration (IOM), organizes for the first time the Global Migration Film Festival. 20 movies around the globe will be screened from 14 – 19 December at Serafio – City of Athens (Pireos & Petrou Ralli st.). Friends of cinematography will have the opportunity to watch short and feature films that were chosen in the framework of GMFF that is organized since 2016 to 100 countries all over the world. Entrance is free and priority will be respected.
Short and feature films, unique performances, talented filmmakers join in an original cinema debate and through their films they raise awareness and inform about the aspects of migration in Greece and around the world.
