Announcement

The International Organization for Migration (ΙΟΜ) would like to reiterate that the entry permit to Accommodation Facilities asylum seekers and refugees, is exclusively granted by the Reception and Identification Service under the General Secretariat for Immigration Policy, Reception and Asylum of the Ministry of Citizen Protection. Based on the relevant Memorandum of Understanding between IOM and the competent Authorities, the entry permit to interested parties, is granted by the Secretariat of the Service upon request. Once approved, IOM Greece’s staff stands ready to facilitate the visit accordingly as it has been the case in the past years.
