A positive COVID-19 case in Ritsona open accommodation site has been confirmed and IOM as the official Site Management Support actor will continue collaborating with the authorities and DG Home to further assist residents in these difficult moments. IOM staff continues working in the facility utilizing safety equipment.

IOM has distributed to all residents cleansers and soaps, while working spaces and common areas are being disinfected once a week. IOM continues to raise awareness on the measures to mitigate the risks of infection translating also and disseminating guidelines issued by the Greek Authorities.

Information is a key towards safety. Staff and residents' safety is a priority for IOM and we will support any further initiative needed.
