Invitation to a Press Conference
On Friday 2 September at 11.00 am at Samos Hotel in Vathy, the Deputy Minister of Migration and Asylum Mrs. Sofia Voultepsi and the Chief of IOM Mission in Greece Mr. Gianluca Rocco invite you to a Press Conference in the framework of the project ““Enhancing the social integration of third-country nationals and their awareness, through capacity-building, to be included in the National Crisis and Risk Management Mechanism”.
Upon the completion of the Press Conference, between 13.00-16.30, multiple scenarios of simulation exercises will be carried out at Samos migrants’ facility, with the participation of relevant agencies and the refugee population.
The program signals the official start of the Ministry of Μigration and Asylum integration programs, funded by the Recovery Fund and implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). This is the first training program exclusively for refugees, by the Fire Brigade. The action is implemented in the framework of National Recovery and Resilience Greece 2.0 with the funding of the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
The General Coordinator of the action is the Brigadier General (Fire Corps HQs), Dr. Calliope Saini.
