IOM would like to clarify that it does not cooperate in any way with private procurement consultants nor develops any kind of relationship with them that would contravene its policy on corruption and conflict of interest, pursuant to the IOM General Procurement Principles and the IOM Code of Conduct for Suppliers.
IOM procurement ethics focuses on zero tolerance on corruption, avoiding any form conflict of interest and honest representation of supplier’s capabilities. IOM upholds honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of its business, and expects the same in its relationships with its vendors. The highest ethical standards shall be employed in all procurement transactions, and Vendors shall be chosen based on IOM’s procurement policies and defined selection criteria.
In order to ensure the above, IOM has established a secure communication channel to enable vendors and service providers to raise concerns confidentially and responsibly.
